R.A. 10591 Violator Nabbed

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga Del Sur (Decc. 13, 2018) - Police operatives of Dumingag Police Station and Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted police operation on search warrant (Service of Search Warrant) at Purok 5, Barangay Lower Timonan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 03:45 AM of December 12, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Reno Onito Delivirio, resident of Purok 5, Barangay Lower Timonan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Confiscated from his possession the following item to wit: One (1) Unit Cal. 45 Remington with serial No. 182649; Two (2) pcs of Magazine and Twelve (12) pcs live ammunitions of cal. 45.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Search Warrant No. 61 for Violation of R.A. 10591, issued on December 10, 2018 by Hon. Carol Morales, Presiding Judge of 9th Judicial Region, 1ST Municipal Trial Court, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The arrested person is now under the custody of Dumingag MPS for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 5, 2018) - Shooting incident transpired in front of Atty. Gretchen Mae Ortega residence at Purok Lerio, Brgy. San Pablo, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:40pm, November 4, 2018.

The victim was identified as Rhoem Rey M. Bontoyan, 40 years of age, married, teacher assigned at Dumingag National High School (DNHS) Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur and a resident of Brgy, Maralag, Dumingag, Zamboangfa del Sur.

He was shot by unidentified suspect. The said victim sustained gunshot shot wound on the right leg.

Recovered from the crime scene are one piece fired shells believed to be of caliber .45 and to be turned-over to Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for Ballistics Examination.

Damage of Property Caused By Whirlwind

On November 4, 2018 at about 4:00pm, The person of Marlon I. Gregorio, LRRDMO reported that a Damage of Property caused by whirlwind transpired along National Highway of Purok 3, Barangay Maganay, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay.

The store of Remedios Azucena, 51 years old, married, businesswoman and Eddie Lapuhapo, 50 years old, single both resident of above mentioned place including shanty’s house roofing were destroyed by the whirlwind.

Initial investigation conducted that at about 3:15pm of same date the store of Remedios Azucena and shanty, house were destroyed by the whirlwind and the three electrical posts (ZAMSURECO) collapsed that caused the power interruption.

However, no one was reported casualty/injured in the said incident. The estimated damage is Seventy Thousand Pesos (Php70,000.00).

Shooting Incident

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 31, 2018) - Shooting incident transpired at the National Highway, Purok 4, Brgy Mahayahay, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 8:20pm of October 30, 2018. The PNP elements of Dumingag MPS proceeded to the area to verify the said report.

Thereat, the responding team saw a male person lying lifeless later identified as Rogelio Dumahil Jamora Jr., 45 years of age and resident of Purok 5, Brgy Dulop, Dumingag alongside of the cemented road and his driven single MC Honda Dream 100, color black that crashed down. Based on the statement of a person who heard the series of gun burst.

He was at his residence together with his family and was watching over the television, when they heard a series of gun fire coming from the uphill location adjacent to their residence.

Therein, they waited and stayed inside their house for a few a minutes and thereafter went out to personally report first the incident to their barangay captain since their place had no CP signal.

However, on their way they passed by the above said victim who was already lying alongside the cemented road together with the crashed down single MC prompting them to went back and look for a place with cellular signal and reported the incident to Dumingag MPS.

Further, the said victim sustained multiple gunshot shot wound on the different parts of his body causing his death. Recovered from the crime scene are two pieces fired shells believed to be of caliber .45 and to be turned-over to Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for Ballistics Examination.   

This station is now conducting a thorough investigation to determine the possible motive behind the incident that may led to identification of suspect/s.

Escapee charged with Double Homicide, Arrested in Zamboanga Del Sur

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 3, 2018) - Joint elements of Dumingag MPS together with team Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Forces Company and 902nd RMFB9 successfully arrested the escapee during the conducted Manhunt Operation at Purok 3 Brgy. Macasing, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 5:00am of November 2, 2018.

The operating team identified the arrested escape with double homicide asBernabe Lumawas y Tulay alias “Mario” was Said wanted person was sentenced for the crime of Double Homicide and an escapee of San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm located at Brgy. San Ramon, Zamboanga City last May 12, 2013.

The operating team was recovered from the possession were one unit caliber .38 revolvers with no serial number loaded with six ammunitions.

The arrested wanted person was brought to Dumingag MPS for proper disposition.

1 person died in Vehicular Traffic Accident

DUMINGAG, Zambonga del Sur. (Sept. 16, 2018) – One person was died in Vehicular traffic accident transpired along National Highway of Sitio Mauswagon, Barangay Lower landing, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:50 PM of September 13, 2018.

Victim was identified as Erie Saren Maata, 24 years of age, single and a resident of Brgy. New Basak, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was driving his single motorcycle Honda XRM 125 color red without plate heading towards town proper of Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Upon reaching at the above said place of incident, it instantly crashed and headed directly to the crick of the road. 

As a result thereof, the above-named person sustained multiple head injuries and lacerations that resulted to his untimely death. The Said person is under the influenced of liquor. 

2 Arrested in Manhunt Operation at Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug. 27, 2018) – The PNP elements of Dumingag MPS, Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Company, Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch, Regional Intelligence Division 9 and Pagadian CPS in coordination with Kalawit MPS conducted a joint “Man-hunt” operation at Purok 5, Brgy Gatas, Kalawit, Zambonaga Del Norte at about 6:00PM of August 25, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest of two wanted persons identified as Jose Dennis Labang alias “Tatung”, 53 years old, married, resident of Sitio Kalubihan, Brgy Lipawan, Dumingag. Hw was arrested by virtue of WOA docketed under CC # 1363-2K18 for the crime of Murder issued by Hon Judge Dennis P Vicoy, Presiding Judge, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City on July 11, 2018 with no bail bond recommended. Also arrested Danny Boy Labang alias “Boboy”, 46 years old, married, resident of Sitio Kalubihan, Brgy Lipawan, Dumingag, by virtue of WOA docketed under CC # 2000-10-1055 for the crime of Murder issued by Hon Judge Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur on June 6, 2010 with no bail bond recommended.

Further, Jose Dennis Labang alias “Tatung now in costudy and temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS while Danny Boy Labang alias “Boboy” now in costudy and temporarily detained at Dumingag MPS for proper disposition.

Couple arrested for violation of RA 8048

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug 17, 2018) – The Combined PNP personnel of Dumingag Municipal Police Station and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 conducted manhunt operation at Purok 1, Barangay Bag-ong Kauswagan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:00 AM of August 15, 2018.

The operation was resulted in the arrest of Basilio Buagas Y Bendanillo, 61 years of age, married, farmer and his spouse identified as Celestina Buagas Y Gapol, 62 years of age, married, housewife, both residents of Purok 1 Brgy. Bag-ong Kauswagan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur

They were arrested by the virtue Warrant of Arrest for the Violation of section 4, RA 8048 otherwise known as “Prohibition.—No coconut tree shall be cut except in the following cases and only after a permit had been issued therefor: (a) When the tree is sixty years old.” The case was docketed under Criminal Case number 5130-D with bail recommended of Twelve Thousand Pesos (Php12, 000.00) each issued on August 6, 2018 issued by Hon. Crislyn C. Pangindian, Presiding Judge of 11th MCTC, Mahayag-Dumingag & Josefina, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur.

The two arrested subject persons are now under the custody of Dumingag MPS for proper disposition.

Notorious Rape Suspect Arrested in Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.15, 2018) – The Combined PNP elements of 902nd Company of RMFB9 and Dumingag MPS conducted manhunt police operation at Sitio Parke, Purok 6, Brgy. Salvador, Dumingag, Zambonaga Del Sur at around 7:00am, August 13, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Virgilio Balanay Ocay, 48 years of age, married, resident of Sitio Bilin, Brgy. Salvador, Dumingag.

The arrested wanted person has pending Warrant of Arrest for the following crimes:

-Rape docketed under Criminal Case number 2018-10-3561 with no bail recommended,

-Sexual Abuse docketed under Criminal Case number 2018-10-3562 with bail recommended fixed in the amount of One Hundred Seventy Thousand Pesos (Php170, 000.00) issued on June 29, 2018,

-Acts of Lasciviousness docketed under Criminal Case number 2018-10-3563 with bail fixed in the amount of Thirty Six Thousand Pesos (Php36, 000.00) issued on July 16, 2018,

-Rape docketed under Criminal Case number 2018-10-3564 with no bail recommended, Sexual Assault docketed under Criminal Case number 2018-10-3565 with bail recommended fixed in the amount of One Hundred Seventy Thousand Pesos (Php170, 000.00) and

-Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to R.A. 7610 docketed under Criminal Case number 2018-10-3566 with bail recommended fixed in the amount of One Hundred Forty Thousand Pesos (Php140, 000.00) both issued on issued on June 29, 2018.

Both Warrant of Arrests were simultaneously issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.

The arrested wanted person was brought to Dumingag MPS and now temporary detained at the lock-up cell awaiting commitment order.

Man Arrested in Dumingag for the Crime of Rape in Relation to RA 7610

 DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (July 16, 2018) –PNP elements of DumingagMPStogether with PNP Team of ZamboangaDel Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company and PNP Team of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 conducted joint police operation against wanted person at Purok1, BrgyMaralag, Dumingag, ZamboangaDel Sur on July 13, 2018 at about 7:00 AM.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest ofJuliven Bonbon Pacquiao, aka “Ben-Ben”, 22 years of age, single and resident of Brgy. Maralag, DumingagZambo Sur

He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Rape in Relation to RA 7610 docketed under Criminal Case number 2017-10-3367 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur dated November 24, 2017 with no bail bond recommended.

Fire Incident in Dumingag

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (June 19, 2018) - Fire incident transpired at Purok 3, Brgy. Bucayan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:40 AM of June 17, 2018.

Acting on the said report, PNP personnel of Dumingag MPS coordinated to Dumingag Fire Station and further responded to the place of incident. Upon arrival thereat, One (1) house was burned by fire.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that said house was owned by Marry Lou Loyloy Credo and it was left unattended by the owner. at around 10:30 AM, of June 17, 2018, the nearby residents noticed a huge smoke coming from said house and when they verify it was already burned.

Further disclosed that the fire started at the living room of said house that was made of light materials with “Nipa” Grass roofing which is believed to be source that made the house rapidly razed by fire and believably caused by an unplugged appliances.

The estimated cost of damages ranges to not less than One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 100 000.00). (By J. CADION)           

Homicide Suspect Nabbed in Bonifacio

   

DUMINGANG, Zamboanga del Sur (June 15, 2018) – The Joint PNP personnel of Dumingag Municipal Police Station (MPS), Tangub Cit Police Station and Bonifacio MPS conducted Manhunt Charlie operation at Purok 1, Barangay Dimalco, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental at about 11:00 AM of June 13, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Oscar Arapon Ambuan, 33 years old, married, male and resident of Sitio Gilala, Purok 1, Barangay Datu Tutukan, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No. 2018-10-3508 issued by Hon. Jaime Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC 9 Branch 23, Justice Hall in Pagadian City. The case has bail bond recommended is fixed to Forty Thousand Pesos (Php 40,000.00) for his temporary liberty.

Campaign against Illegal Gambling in Dumingag

On June 06, 2018 at about 8:45 PM, PNP personnel of Dumingag MPS and RMFB 9 conducted joint operation on anti- illegal number games locally known as “swertres” at Purok Kumintang, Baranagy San Pedro, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

The operation resulted to the arrest of Robenson Bacacao Ceniza, 52 years old, married, and resident of Purok Kumintang, Brgy. San Pedro, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

Subject person was caught in the act while operating illegal number games known as “Swertres” inside his house situated adjacent to his vulcanizing shop along Ramon Magsaysay Avenue, Purok Kumintang, Brgy. San Pedro, Dumingag, Zambonga del Sur.

Recovered from his possession and control are the following gambling paraphernalia’s, to wit: tally sheets; swertres lotto result (bolantoy); calculator; ballpen; stapler; plastic container; and money worth eight hundred thirty pesos (Php 830.00) in different denominations.

The suspect is now temporary detained at Dumingag MPS for filing of appropriate in court.

Suspect commits suicide after stabbing his Son

On June 02, 2018 at about 02:00 AM, stabbing incident transpired at Purok 2, Brgy. San Vicente, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The victim identified as Jovert Dayap Senarillos, 9 years of age, was stabbed by his father Roberto Abong Senarillos.

Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was sleeping together with his mother Joan Dayap Senarillos and the suspect father Roberto Abong Senarillos.

Therein, the mother was awakened by the groan of the latter in which she noticed that it was already bleeding while his husband was kneeling beside her son and holding a knife.

Therewith, she immediately grabbed the hand of her husband and wrested the knife and subsequently shouted for help. But eventually due to superior strength, the suspect was able to stab himself with the use of same knife for several times on his abdomen.

Fortunately, their neighbors positively responded and held the suspect.

The victim sustained a stabbed wound on his abdominal part while the suspect sustained multiple stabbed wound on his abdominal part. Both victims and suspect were immediately rushed to Ozamis City Emergency.

9 Person arrested, firearms and grenade seized in Dumingag

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (May 11, 2018) – The responding police operative arrested 9 persons and confiscated one firearms with ammunition and one hand grenade Thursday at 10:08pm in Purok 3, Barangay Bagong Valencia od this municipality.

A report received by the police operatives that armed men allegedly harassed the house of Barangay Chairman Marcelo Dalandao.

Upon receipt of the report, PNP personnel of station led by PO3 Jepe Y Bazar, together with augmented personnel of 902ND, RMFB9 proceeded to the reported place to verify the report.

Upon arrival of the responding team, barangay chairman MARCELO DALANDAO together with other persons guided the PNP personnel going to the boarding house of EX-Barangay Chairman Hermilina Japos Arbilon at purok 4, Barangay Bagong Valencia of said municipality.

When they arrived in the area, there were individuals in front of said house suddenly scampered to different direction after noticing the presence of police.

The responding team immediately alighted from the PNP patrol car and chased the evading persons and the other PNP personnel directly barged inside the house, consequently caught and arrested nine (9) persons identified as:

-MISAEL L. BATION, 40 years old; 

-ELMER C. MANGCAO,  56 year old;

-JONNY M. TAYONG, 24 years old;

-LEONARDO C. BATOCTOY, 38 year old,

-WILLIAM D. ALBAIRA, 35 years old;

-LEONARDO L. GUPIT, 42 years old,

-LITO M. JAPOS, 46 years old,

-RICO E. SAUCLUM, 43 years old; and J

-OEL A. BALURAN, 43 year old, all resident of Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

The following items were recovered inside the house of Ex-Barangay Chairman HERMILINA JAPOS ARBILON were:

-One (1) unit caliber 45 pistol with

-Nine (9) live ammunitions and

-One (1) unit hand grenade;

While other items recovered in the rice and corn mill building adjacent to said house are:

-one (1) unit caliber 45 pistol with

-Nine (9) live ammunitions; and

-one (1) unit caliber 38 revolver with

-Five (5) live ammunitions.

Arrested persons were temporary detained at Dumingag MPS lock up cell, while waiting for appropriate charges to be filed in court against them. (By JONG CADION)

Stabbing Incident in Dumingag

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (May 6, 2018) – A stabling incident transpired at Barangay La Fortuna, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur Saturday at about 1:20am.  

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that on or about 1:15 AM of May 5, 2018, the victim identified as Dany Aranas, 40 years old married, construction worker and a resident of Barangay Maralag, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur together with the suspect identified as Rogen Aglet Bation, 30 years old, married, construction worker and a resident of same place.

Both victim and suspect were having a drinking session at said Barangay when an intense argument ensued between them that prompted the suspect to stab the victim with the use of a hunting knife, while the said victim managed to retaliate by smashing the suspect with a 2x3 hard object hitting on his lower jaw.

Victim sustained one stabbed wound on the part of his stomach and was immediately rushed to Molave Medical Center, Molave of this province while the suspect was brought to LTMPC Hospital, Mahayag of this province for their immediate medical treatment.

1 died 3 wounded in vehicular accident in Dumingag

DUMINGAG,Zamboanga del Sur (May 2, 2018) Vehicular traffic accident transpired at Purok 6, Barangay Dulop, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:30 am on May 1, 2018.

The vehicle described as one (1) UV Foton drop side, color white, bearing plate number 090107.

The driver identified as John Totesora Valben, 30 years old, married, and resident of barangay Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay with three passenger identified as Marilou Balbastro Mansenero, 35 years old, Crui Marl Mansenero, 3 years old, and Joven Ivan Totesora Yap, 16 years old, all resident of Barangay Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

The said vehicle was loaded with 100 sacks of soya and traversing from Dumingag municipality this province going to Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province.

In the initial investigation, the vehicle upon reaching at the hilly portion of Purok 6, Barangay Dulop, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur the driver lost its control over his driven vehicle due to mechanical problem (brake malfunction) as alleged by the driver. The vehicle swerved and fell down into the hilly portion of said place.

As a result, the victim Mrs. Marilou Mansenero, died on the spot while the driver along with other passengers sustained serious injuries in the different parts of their bodies and were rushed to Sindangan Medical Hospital, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte for immediate medical treatment.

Man Arrested for the Crime of Reckless Imprudence resulting to Homicide

NAHAYAG, Zamboanga del Sur (April 19, 2018) – The combined operatives of Mahayag Municipal police Station and Dumingag Police Station conducted a joint manhunt operation Wednesday at 1:00pm in Purok Dancing Lady, Barangay San Pedro, Dumingag of this province.

The joint operation resulted to the successful arrest of the suspect identified as Nonic Sansa Tangkay, 46 years old, married, LGU Casual Employee and a resident of the said place for the crime of Reckless Imprudence resulting to Homicide.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge Crislyn C. Pangindian, 11th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Mahayag-Dumingag and Josefina, Ninth Judicial Region, Mahayag of this province docketed under Criminal Case No. 5117-d with bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty fixed in the amount of Twelve Thousand Pesos (P12, 000.00).

Hanging of Tarpaulin on Tokhang conducted in Dumingag

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (April 6, 2018) – Dumingag Municipal Station Personnel headed by OIC Chief of Police Chief Inspector Andrew Tuclus Limod conducted the displayed and Hanging of Tarpaulin on National Tokhang Reporting Hotline-Katok ng Pagbabago Mula sa Puso.

The Katok at Pakiusap Oplan is the National Campaign of the Philippine National Police to support the program of President Rodrigo R. Duterte towards Illegal Drugs Free Philippines-Recovery and Wellness Programs.
